enter delhi from the north... destination lodhi colony.
hmmm... you can take a number of routes; the shortest one? the person in lodhi colony didn't know, so i chose karnal bypass - azadpur - model town - isbt - red fort - india gate - khan mkt - lodhi colony. maybe this is a longer route, but then its the only one i know and am pretty sure its not much longer than the shortest one.

but then did i take into consideration the little construction sites setup here and there for the metro rail. these constructions are ok as long as the routes are open. but at night this is not true. they block these tiny roadlets that they have created around these constructions and you end up covering double the distance you had originally planned, actually more than the longest route you could have taken.

new bearing

hmmm... thought i would just continue the "new" series.

so today i shall write about the new thing i got for my car today.
a new bearing for the front left wheel. hmmm... yeah... thats about it.
i can't go on and describe it saying things like it was very nice and beautiful and stuff like that coz for one thing, i didn't see it and also coz they told me they put a whole of "new" grease all over it (i mean what can be so "new" about grease), so no matter how shiny it must have been when they took it out of the packet, at the end of the exercise, it must not have looked "that nice" (for lack of a better word)

hmmm... long overdue. one of those things you plan to sit down and complete "tomorrow", a tomorrow which never seems to make it to you.

but thanks to surinder, its finally done. hmmm... we had some disagreements about the choice of colors but then i had the better argument - "the blog is mine", so he had to relent :)

new house

i need a new place to stay... again!

i moved into this really cozy and comfortable room two months back.
been having a good time, landlord's pretty cool about everything.
but the car stays outside on the road... and so does the bike.
someone's been stealing petrol from the bullet... and i wanna
make sure i'm outta here before they steal the bike itself!

so, i need a new place to stay... again!
