this was the first time i ever fell off my bike, so now I know how that feels :)

minor accident

had a minor accident (atleast thats what i thought of it at the time) on sunday. fell off the shogun after hitting a cyclist in gurgaon... got a couple of scrapes on the arm and an equal number of bruises on the leg...

the arm's healed well, but the leg's gone from bad to worse... think i'll be limping for another week :(

i don't care about the money but do read this to learn how to avoid it coz we're the loosers in the end.

a surprise ride

what started as a trip to the service center actually became a full fledged trip to Kasauli... me an Vir went to the service center to get his clutch checked and a curious noise in my bike looked at.

we got out of the place sooner than we thought... so when Vir talked about having something at KFC, I offered him the idea of riding up to Giani da dhaba at Kasauli and thats all the inspiration that Vir needed and off we went.

good ride... we clipped the bikes every once in a while... there was mad traffic on the way... like the entire Chandigarh and Delhi was on its way to the mountains... Well can't really blame them... they had 3 days and the weather up there was awesome.

so obviously Giani's was over-populated and we went on to Modern which is a couple of turns away. after a filling meal of stuffed nan's with egg-bhurji we were off to the Dagshai to sip a little beer. has a good time lazing around then headed home clipping down the mountain... not good not good as I need to go tomorrow and have some major fixes in my bike.

one thing I did today was raise the handle bars. after riding Vir's bike I felt more comfortable cutting corners.

well thats that... am home now... off to take a much needed bath :)
