i reached jaipur at 7pm and got to click the amer fort... it looks even better at night.

gurgaon - jaipur - kishangarh

drove to kishangarh last weekend to get some marble for the house. kishangarh, a whole sale market for marble, is about 100km from jaipur recently connected by a 6-lane expressway. the expressway toll has made the journey dearer by Rs. 55, but the experience is worth it. i remember going to kishangarh about 6 years ago and recall cursing everytime the car hit one of the thousand odd potholes on the road. took me about 2-3 hours to cover the 100km. this time cruising at about 120kmph, i did it in a little over an hour. in all you pay Rs. 300 toll from delhi to kishangarh but the the new roads have made the driving more pleasant and less tiresome.
