drass... the second coldest inhabited place on the earth. temprature -60 deg on 9-Jan-95. also the place where the kargil war was kicked off.

the lamayuru monastry is some 150km on the way to kargil from leh. set in a very desolate area right in the middle of the mountains...

the other side of the pass... you can see the prayer flags on the bike fluttering like mad.

a sunset in kasauli
This is easily one of the best sunsets i have seen. arjun clicked this in kasauli on my bullet's maiden ride to the mountains. clicked from the balcony of a hotel whose i can't remember now. lucky are those who live there and witness this everyday of their lives...
