da vinci code and five point someone

i finished the da vinci code a couple of weeks back... liked two thirds of the book... gets some what predictable towards the end so you tend to loose interest. i kinda wish it didn't have the all goody-goody ending... oops i hope that doesn't spoil the book for anyone.

tom hanks is going to star in the movie based on the book, so that might be interesting. i like the guy's work.

meanwhile the french are sick of the kind of tourism the book has generated. more...

in contrast five point someone tends to get interesting towards the end. hmmm... i was tempted to just put it away after the first 100 pages, but decided to finish it. well didn't end up all that disappointed. try it out... and if you don't wanna spend the money i'll lend it.

reviews and views and woes

i had my products' review with the ceo today... it went well.

he just asked me to give him a few feasibility reports, park all the development for one of the products and release an interim version, prepare a couple of gap analysis reports, get some ui prototypes for the next version of one the solutions... all by dec end.

am i glad i'd already cancelled my plans for the year end... coz i jolly well would have had to today... and that would have been ugly.

maybe i will just hop on the bike and pay a little visit to ranthambore for some inspiration on a weekend.
